Anthropology is derived from the two Greek words (anthropos) meaning “man” and (logos) meaning “word.” Biblical anthropology deals with the study of the Bible’s revelation of the nature of man both before and after the fall and both before and after regeneration. A fundamental idea in Biblical anthropology is the image of God.
