What We Believe

The true sign of Christians is their love for God, His people and His word.

Within the Godhead dwell 3 persons: Father, Son and Spirit and these 3 Persons are all called God. Hence, we believe in the tri-unity of God. Three persons (or personalities) within the one Godhead.

Salvation is provided for the children of God by the vicarious death, on the cross, of Jesus Christ, Whom the Father sent. It is applied to our hearts by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. When one puts their saving faith in Christ they are born again and, as a result, are saved and adopted into the family of God.

The majority of people will not believe and be saved, but rather, damned, as only a ‘few’ will truly believe in our Lord. These are His words, not mine.

Satan and his demons are in the Lake of Fire, as described in the Book of Revelation. The presence of Satan is not required in order for humans to sin. We can never say: “The devil made me do it”. Satan never caused men and women to sin. He tempted them.

The existence of sin in this world is explainable by the fact that humans, without God, are evil and will naturally gravitate to self. Sin is inherent within humankind. Sin, in fact, is self-ness.

The Bible, containing the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule of faith and practice for the Christian. It is given to us that the people of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge, without which, there is no truth or understanding.

Wrath and damnation are upon all people who have not believed and received Jesus as Savior and Lord, by repenting of their sins and turning to Him to save them (John 3:36).

Humanistic education, the information explosion, and the rejection of God have almost eliminated truth from the earth.

Only those born again by the Spirit of God and studying His word can see the truth.

The Bible is to be studied diligently and according to its own internal rules of interpretation.

The return of Jesus was fulfilled in the 1st century, according to the prophecies of Jesus and His Apostles, and we are now living in the seen realm of the “One” eternal Kingdom of God (consisting of “both” the earthly seen realm in the Church, and the unseen heavenly realm where God, the angelic beings, and all of the departed saints dwell), that Jesus established in the 1st century, with Him ruling as the King of Kings.

The Bible never speaks of the ‘end of time’, but the ‘time of the end’– an important distinction!

The ‘world’ that was about to end in the New Testament was the old heavens and earth cosmological order based on animal blood sacrifice, epitomized in the ‘age’ of the old Judaic system. It was not the end of the planet.

Planet earth will never end, nor will the increase of His Government – souls being saved (Isa. 9:7; Eph. 3:21). It will go on forever (Psa. 104:5, 78:69, 148:4, 6, 199:90, 45:17; Gen. 8:21; Psa. 2, 89:34-37; Eccl. 1:4; Ezek. 37:26-28; Eph. 2:20-22).
