Death (Unbelievers)

  • BEFORE AD 70 all UNBELIEVERS who died were sent disembodied, without their flesh and blood bodies, but with a bodily form of some kind, to the torment side of Hades to wait for the final Judgments of Christ in AD 70.  These were all unredeemed, unbelieving, Jews and Gentiles.  In AD 70 they were judged at the Great White Throne judgment and were all sentenced according to the wages of their sins to condemnation forever in the Lake of Fire (Rom. 6:23; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 20:12-15).
  • AFTER AD 70 each and every UNBELIEVER who physically dies in this life without Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, immediately upon their death, their disembodied soul is judged according to the wages of their sins and they go directly to “their part” in the Lake of Fire (Rom. 6:23; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 21:8).
