The dispensational view which teaches that Christ will return secretly and take His Church out of the world just before (hence, “pre”) the outbreak of the Great Tribulation. Dispensationalists believe that the Rapture must be pre-tribulational because the events of the Great Tribulation are not a part of the program for the Church but for Israel.
