Zoroastrianism

Zoroaster was a Persian philosopher and pagan prophet of the 7th century B.C. who taught the false belief that there were two deities who were in eternal struggle; one, Spenta Mainyu, who was the god of good and light and the other, Angra Mainyu, who was the god of evil and darkness.  Zoroastrianism is the false belief that there are two equal and opposite deities or powers at work in the universe, and that the affairs of men are the result of the conflict between the two.
